Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

Our commitment to protecting children and vulnerable individuals

1. Our Unwavering Commitment

VidGrab is unequivocally committed to protecting children and vulnerable individuals from sexual abuse and exploitation. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) material or related activities on our services.

This document outlines our comprehensive standards, policies, and procedures designed to proactively prevent, diligently identify, and decisively respond to CSAE across all our operations, platforms, and services. Our goal is to foster a safe environment and to cooperate fully with law enforcement and child protection agencies.

2. Definitions

For the purpose of this policy, Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any visual depiction (photographs, videos, drawings, etc.) of a minor (person under 18 years of age) engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
  • Content that promotes, facilitates, or enables child sexual grooming, trafficking, or any form of sexual violence against children.
  • Solicitation of minors for sexual purposes.
  • Live-streaming of child sexual abuse.
  • Any material that otherwise violates applicable laws concerning child protection.

3. Scope of this Policy

This policy applies to all users of VidGrab services, including our website, mobile applications, and any associated platforms or features. It covers all content generated, shared, or stored using our services.

4. Core Standards & Preventative Measures

We adhere to the following core standards to combat CSAE:

  • Absolute Prohibition: Strict prohibition of the creation, distribution, storage, or promotion of any content that exploits, endangers, or harms children.
  • Technology & Moderation: Utilization of available technologies and human moderation processes to detect and remove CSAE material.
  • Mandatory Reporting: Legal obligation and commitment to report all credible instances or suspicions of CSAE to the appropriate national and international law enforcement agencies (e.g., National Center for Missing and Exploited Children - NCMEC in the U.S., or equivalent bodies internationally) and child protection services.
  • User Awareness: Educating our users about the dangers of CSAE and their role in reporting suspicious content.
  • Staff Training: Regular and comprehensive training for all relevant staff on CSAE identification, reporting protocols, and victim support awareness.
  • Secure Reporting Systems: Provision of clear, accessible, and confidential channels for users and staff to report suspected CSAE.
  • Collaboration: Active collaboration with law enforcement, child protection organizations, and industry peers to share information and best practices in combating CSAE.
  • Data Preservation: Secure preservation of evidence related to CSAE reports to assist law enforcement investigations, in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Policy Review: Regular review and updating of this policy to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with evolving legal standards and best practices.

5. Reporting Suspected CSAE

The cooperation of our users is vital in identifying and combating CSAE. If you encounter any content or behavior on VidGrab services that you suspect may constitute CSAE, please take the following steps immediately:

  1. Do Not Engage or Distribute: Do not attempt to investigate further yourself. Do not share, forward, download, or save the material, as this could inadvertently contribute to its spread and may be illegal.
  2. Report Immediately: Use our designated secure reporting system to report the content or behavior. Provide as much detail as possible, including URLs, usernames, screenshots (if safe to capture without downloading the material itself), and a description of the concern.
  3. Preserve Information (If Safe): If possible and safe to do so without downloading or distributing the material, note down any relevant information such as URLs, user profiles, and the date/time of observation. This information can be crucial for investigations.
  4. Consider Reporting to Authorities: In addition to reporting to us, you may also report suspected CSAE directly to your local law enforcement or a national child protection hotline.

All reports made to VidGrab will be treated with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality, and investigated promptly. We are committed to taking appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension or termination, and reporting to law enforcement.

6. Consequences of Violation

Any user found to be creating, sharing, promoting, or storing CSAE material through VidGrab services will face immediate and severe consequences, including but not limited to:

  • Permanent suspension or termination of their VidGrab account and access to our services.
  • Reporting of the user and the incident to relevant law enforcement agencies and child protection authorities.
  • Cooperation with legal investigations, which may include providing user data as required by law.

We reserve the right to take any other actions deemed necessary and appropriate to address violations of this policy.
